At Takumi Tatami, every tatami mat is handcrafted and made to order based on the specifications provided by the customer. Because of the custom nature of our products, all sales are final.

No Returns or Exchanges
All tatami mats and custom products purchased from Takumi Tatami are custom manufactured specifically for your order. For this reason:
Returns are not accepted
Exchanges are not accepted
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all measurements, sizes, and specifications submitted with the order are correct. Please double-check your information before completing your purchase.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged during shipping or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging. We will review the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution.
